The cookstoves have thermal efficiency of 55% which means it has the ability to reduce fuel consumption compared to traditional metal stove. Successful because the stoves have high efficiency attributed by; good design for heat transfer, increased surface area for heat exchange, high efficiency of the combustion chamber for reduction of harmful emission and reduction of heat energy loss by application of ceramic fibre blanket to areas where heat exchange take place.
